Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing

Psychological testing involves obtaining knowledge and understanding specific treatment goals targeting the presenting problems. Testing clarifies a person’s intellectual, academic, and emotional difficulties and challenges.

Neuropsychological testing (NPTs) measures how well the brain works. It tests for a range of mental functions, such as reading, language use, attention, learning, processing speed, reasoning, remembering, and problem-solving, as well as mood and behavior.

Psychological assessments focus on diagnosing mental health conditions and understanding emotional and behavioral aspects. NPTs focus on the relationship between the brain and behavior and how a child's brain function influences these areas.
